And, so this is my chance to tell you a little about me. The
industry I work in is service oriented, and I think it's
important that my clients and potential clients know the
person...it is a part of the trust building process.

I'll spare all the life history bullet points. You don't care
what university my degree is from or whether or not I can add
self-serving acronyms behind my name anyway.

I'm your pretty "normal" guy, I guess. I enjoy good music, I
admire talent pursued in others, be it fine art, performing arts,
culinary arts, athleticism, science, medicine or simply the
talent of selfless giving.

After a two year long distance relationship, I just recently
married and relocated to northwest Arkansas. A fairy tale story
come true...we grew up only a few blocks apart and reconnected
after 27 years. I've spent the past 4+ years living the southern
California lifestyle, trying to expand my inner self on many
different levels. I've learned to surf, and I've learned where
every great dirt cheap taco stand is from Imperial Beach to
Oceanside, mostly in flip flops and board shorts on my beach
cruiser. I am anxious to start the next chapter in my life, and
my wife and I look very forward to becoming involved in our new
community.

I've dabbled in the sport of triathlon some through the years. I
consider it to be a hobby, and although it's something I'm
passionate about, it's certainly not my profession...I would
otherwise starve to death. I've completed the Ironman Triathlon
15 times over the past near 25 years (has it really been that
long?). The Ironman is an anomaly, and I've always likened it to
wrestling a gorilla. You don't necessarily stop when you've had
enough, you stop when the gorilla's had enough. I've also always
agreed that we are what we habitually do, although I'd rather
think that there is something more noble in this world than some
hobby that defines me. I don't think I'm so unique when I say
that I'm task or goal driven. I like to be a "doer".  Dreams,
ideas and talk are all great for starters, but the main course is
in the doing of these dreams.

At any rate and through it all, I've come to a couple of
conclusions. I think people, all people have the inherent need to
feel a sense of accomplishment. I think that's the driving
component in being a doer, and accomplishment is the fuel. That
said, there is no real finish line, because the need always
exists. The satisfaction comes when I meet others who get that,
people who understand that there is no marked end to
accomplishment. That's what building long term relationships is
all about.

Thanks so much for taking the time ~
